Our goal is to foster self-sufficiency and to motivate and mobilize communities to take responsibility for their own future.
Community investment is most effective and lasting if it meets both business and social needs. Katanga’s programs and investments have been developed through a data-driven, risk management framework. This includes extensive engagement with stakeholders through formal assessments (Socio-Economic Impact Assessment and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment) and ongoing community consultation, to determine and prioritize mutually beneficial areas of need.
